Not quite like a strike of lightning.
I finally realized that today was the Fourth of July when I called four different places to follow up on applications I filled out/resumes I sent out and they were all closed. The fourth potential employer was kind enough to point out that today was indeed the fourth and yes they were closed for the holiday.
That being said, I have no plans to speak of. Watching the fireworks downtown from the roofdeck is pretty much it. I suppose I could simply relax and read, catch up on my knitting, watch movies on cable, that sort of thing..
I could really go for a grilled cheeseburger and some Mike's Hard lemonade right about now. :\
