I'm curious, with Direct TV, FIOS, Comcast etc, if you have the HD package, do you have the option of watching an SD feed of the same channel, or do they delete the SD channel to make room for the HD feed?
Mainly I'm wondering if on the bullshit "HD" channels, do they force you to watch stretch-o-vision or can you watch a channel that actual follows the correct aspect ratio? Or do they just assume the the average viewer is too fucking stupid to not realize that they're paying extra money for an image that isn't even the right fucking shape?
