An Amazing Run
Not gonna lie. Still totally bummed that the Flyers lost. It's amazing how sports can do this to people. I could write a psychological dissertation on sports depression, having grown up in this area. Heh.
That said, I really am so proud of this Flyers team. So damn proud. And I am proud to be a fan. It was an amazing Stanley Cup run. The past few weeks have been so much fun in this town. Everyone was rooting for this team, even people who don't like hockey. With all the adversity this team went through, they still somehow made it to the Stanley Cup Final. They didn't just hand it over either like the '97 Flyers did. It was such an entertaining series. As were the playoffs. I even became a fan of other teams like the Canucks and even the Habs.
I really love this team, guys. They are just so inspiring and have so much heart. I expect next season to be amazing now that the chemistry is there. I can't wait to go to a game. Uh, if there aren't two blizzards in the same damn week preventing me from going. ;)
