My school was day was so slack: we watched movies! I love the first day back at school being a "no brainer"...literally. We watched '10 things I hate about you' for English because it's a modern telling of 'Taming of the Shrew' and then we watched 'Fast Food Nation' in Sociology. Now, I never considered vegetarianism before in my life, but after watching the last few scenes in 'Fast Food Nation' I'm truly thinking about only eating meats where I know it's been. That means cutting out fast-food entirely (not hard to do seeing as I eat them maybe once in a blue moon to begin with) and generally all meat from grocery store. Luckily, my step dad is a hunter and catches a moose or two every year.
I know what you're thinking: killing animals for meat is any better? Imo it is. At least I know they died in a humane way rather than people hanging them from their hind leg while a guy comes in and slices open your jugular while you're still alive. Yeah. I'm taking the hunting way; it's more humane and I know what's happened to the meat because I've met the butcher we go to and it's a smaller chain to begin with.
Anywho, fashion show rehearsal was alright but my practice for 'Accessories' was canceled again. We're getting no practice time! We've only had 2 sessions and both have been canceled! GAH!!
Oh, then my night was topped off by getting a call from my sister telling me my mom has to pick me up early from practice today. I'm standing outside wondering what could possibly be huge enough that my mom would drive in early to pick me up? Well, it just so happens that my sisters were fooling around and the youngest fell down on the silverware in the dishwasher....unfortunately, a knife stabbed her deep in the rear end.
Yeah. My sister was stabbed in the ass with a kitchen knife and we had to drive her to emergency to get internal and external stitches. *shakes head* Interesting night I know. lol
Anyways, off to study for a Sociology test! Night!!
