Yesterday was a great day because I got the High School Musical 3 DVD!! Yay me! It's a good movie; I don't care what other people say. I mean, I'd rather have HSM as a role model for my younger sisters than the other crap out there in Hollywood imo. There's my reasoning. I saw the movie 2nd opening and got the DVD opening day as well so I'm keeping up with the times here. lol
Anywho, onto today. I had a Collab day so classes didn't start until 10:05am. I wasn't able to get a later ride so I got there at my usual time, which is 8am...it was a long morning. I set an appointment with my English 12 teacher to figure out how to improve my essay writing. They grade it out of 6 all the time with provincials and I always get 5. Now, I realize I shouldn't be complaining seeing as how that mark's great but if you ALWAYS get it, it gets old really fast. So I asked him to expand on the little notes he made throughout. I really enjoy having Mr. Santos as an English teacher because he never insults you; as soon as he says anything negative he immediately follows it with a compliment on something you do do well. He said I have great potential and am a maturing writer but I need to work on the variety of my sentence lengths and add more vivid modifiers. Santos liked one of my lines which said 'the hollow voice from the intercom'. lol Also, I need to work on not beginning my sentences with conjunctions...never thought that was a problem until he circled them all with the obnoxious red pen. lol
Sociology was cut in half because classes started late but tomorrow we're heading to the Anglican church to help them pack boxes of food for shelters, etc. I'm excited! Then English we're writing another in-class, narrative essay and writing our 'Taming of the Shrew' final.
Oh, almost forgot something! We had our readers' theatre performances today and I have to say, everyone did a fantastic job! It was cool seeing the class get into it and my group did awesome as well. Good day in English!
Yeah. Early entry today but it was a fairly long one once again. I'm beginning to notice that I get most of my comments on the shorter entries...but w/e. I don't post for comments. lol
Then there was the meme...

-Canada- Do I really need to elaborate? lol I'm a true-blue Canadian! I believe I'm 4th generation or pretty close. Everytime I was assigned a 'family tree/heritage' project, I could never get info on family OUTSIDE of these great borders!
-Anime- Now, I used to be huge in the anime scene but now? Not so much. I do have a couple I like and even went as far as to read the manga. Those are: FMA (of course) and Lovely Complex. List is short, I know. lol
-Sociology class <3- This class has become one of my favourites! I especially enjoy having Mr. Gee as a teacher and I might even continue on with the course in my future.
-History <3- However, this class has always been one of my favourites. It's a funny story on how I came to love it so. It was back in grade 9 when my SS teacher created this game. He allowed us to pick characters who would've lived back then (I believe we were studying the New World era) and I chose an English priest. Idk. It gave me a more hands-on experience so...
-Smart- Aww, thanks! I do get a kick out of learning but that's because it's become a passion of mine. I'm one of those people who, if I won the lottery, would go back to school. lol
