"So I've been writing more lately"
I thought I'd say that today, on LJ.
Then I got a giggle, and I thought about going back through LJ and making a lists of all my posts in which I've said that I've been doing writing lately. And then I'd laugh at them.
Cause it's a stupid thing to say, or post, or whatever...
It's never not true. How do I get these freakin words here, duh, writing. Ipso facto, when I post, I've been writing more. What a fucking twat I am.
But I have been. I've also been doing a lot more thinking about all the shit that I want to write. The shit that just hasn't passed through my linguistic colon yet, to be squeezed out in a harsh loaf and spread thickly for the pleasure of the masses. I have a lot of pent up shit inside me.
For the record, Mom, I really should have listened to you way back in the day, like when I was just a punk little shit, and you told me to read Ender's Game. Yeah, I should have done that.
