Moving hurts

Moving + sciatica = pain

Now that maths lessons are over...

Movers showed up yesterday at 9am.  I had booked elevator from 8-11, which didn't stop security from lettign someoe else have it. Se he has to go up and tell said person that he can't have it, it's mine.  Get elevator at 9.15.  Go upstairs.  9.15-10.15 are spent taking down the 4 very large pieces of furniture that a former roommate left and refused to come and get.  How it took an hour to take 4 things downstairs, I do not understand.
at 10.15 we start on my stuff.  Now, I have bedroom furniture, one kitchen table, about 15 boxes and a cedar chest.  All of the boxes, lamps, disassembled table, etc, basically everything light, I took to the elevator for them.  And yet every singe trip in the elevator took like 20 min.  There's no way.  What took 2.5 hours to load, took 25 min to unload.  The moral of this story, is: if you book movers, have a friend to stay in the apartment while you watch them, becasue i'm sure they took a moke-break every single trip!  It took until 1.30 before they were done. There's no way.  Even with a short stop we had to make on the way, where i again carried half the boxes up the stairs.  $408 I didn't have!  And then they asked for a tip becasue they make $9/hr. Now really, that's not a lot of money, but I don't make alll that much more, and I did as much work as they did. Imagine if I hadn't, i'd still be moving. Yikes. Luckily, my dad felt sorry for me and helped out a bit, but still, I'm not eating this month1

Now I have to go to work, if I can stand up.  I will try to post a story part today.
