As Chuck walked back to the stage, he was grabbed by Becky.
“That was so cool. The way you just.....” She couldn’t speak so she kissed him.
Too bad for Chuck, she pulled away just as his brain clicked into gear and he started kissing her back.
“I shouldn’t have done that.”
“Why?”
“What will Sam think? I can’t break his heart like that.”
“Look Becky, I’m sure he’ll be fine. We just need to talk to him. Both of us together.”
“Are you sure?”
“Trust me on this. I’ve known these guys a while. He’ll be ok.”
“I guess. I just don’t want to be another sad memory for him. Not after Jess and Madison and Ruby.....”
“You won’t be. I’m sure he’ll be happy for you. For us”
“I don’t know. I think he really likes me.”
“Look, let’s just focus on what we’re meant to do right now - which is keep these guys in here and hopefully not have them ask too many questions about the real ghosts.”
She nodded her head in agreement.
“We’ll talk after this is all over with. Just you and me. Then we’ll talk to Sam if you want.” He kissed her lightly on the head before sitting her back down in her seat.
“Right then, where were we?”
