The hair thing and the swamp monster lived happily ever after. Good for them. Are these the 'higher ups' people talk about--the powers above the deities? If so, I don't fully understand why we haven't staged a coup.

Why do the curses happen? What do the deities want from us?

The orchid I bought--the Laelia gouldiana--is blooming. It's a winter-blooming flower that is native to Mexico, and it generally grows in mountainous regions. It's a difficult orchid to coax into bloom, since the spikes need to be misted daily and it requires massive amounts of sunlight.
