Truth is stranger than fiction
What would you say if I told you that the US government was basically smuggling thousands of guns (including .50 caliber sniper rifles) into Mexico (without informing that country's government) for use by drug lords, which could be construed as an act of war under international law? And that these guns were apparently used in the death of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry? And that both the DoJ and the ATF are apparently refusing to comply with Congressional inquiries into the matter by not providing information in response to subpoenas? Sounds like something you'd read at a right-wing "Down with Obama" birther-conspiracy website, right? Or maybe the plot to a bad movie. Now, what if I told you that it was CBS telling this story?
