We had to put my dog to sleep this morning. Yesterday we had taken her to the vet for x-rays and it turned out she had cancer in her spleen and liver. She collapsed at the vet and couldn't walk anymore so my parents had to take her home on a stretcher. She stayed at home overnight and she was crying out in pain the whole night, so we took her

Oh Abby, it's beautiful that people feel things, compassion is pretty awesome. It feels like you'd rather not feel anything, but the people who do are just... arg I don't know. I don't understand how some people don't really, feel anything when their animals die, I did that once, and it still makes me sick to my stomach to think about it. I love you!
