Stranded Making Christmas Graphics.

The melting is not happening which is why I am still here, at home and staring at my laptop monitor. Well, not really staring. I'm doing useless festive things as well.

My desktop for example. Let's say I've tweaked it for the sake of the holiday:

I do enjoy perfecting the art of my photoshop santa hat. lol Not that they're perfect or anything. It's just fun.

I also made some icons out of it.

You're all welcome to them of course. This is me, just killing time.

Yesterday was kind of fun. Mom and Dad picked us up after the sky spat out more snow and freezing rain at us and drove us back to their house so we could spend the say with them. Church was canceled yet again and Dad's a better driver in the snow than any of us...and he would kill us if we even tried it anyway.

The drive there was an adventure in itself because the hills made it so Dad had to turn around and get a running start at one especially before we could make it over. It was pretty fun actually. :D

I helped Mom bake cookies. Gary and Sean tried to sled down the cul-de-sac without much success. I took some video and posted it on Facebook. And we just hung out. I wrote some more to my Batman story and had fun.
Our presents were all wrapped and ready (Cecily and I had wrapped them the evening before whilst watching the second season of Robin Hood which is an entire post within itself! lol Oh the unrealism and cheesiness! Yet it is almost all forgiven with the Richard Armitage shirtless scene... Oh yeah. They're straightening his hair though. BLERGH!) and we put them under the tree that had the lights on. It didn't have anything else on it because Mom was waiting for some garland to appear out of nowhere I expect before we put the ornaments on.

It's not like I don't want to be home from work. I rather prefer it this way as most anyone else would. It's just that this week is the worst week of all weeks to do this because I already have two days off due to Christmas.
I have stuff I have to pay for and as much as I would like to, I'm not getting paid to stay home.

We'll just have to see what happens I guess. It's SO pretty outside though!
