Aftermath
2,111 words and counting! *Mr. Universe Pose!* I started at midnight last night and wrote for about fourty five minutes before my brain felt like oatmeal.
I'm already over the words I needed for today but I think I'm going to keep going and maybe post the first chapter. :D
It is difficult. I'm still backspacing and changing how certain things are phrased and such but I'm moving forward and I'm keeping myself in check when I feel like I want to change some things about the third paragraph up from where I'm at.
Halloween last night was fun! Cecily, Katie, and I went to a party dressed as the evil Queen from Snow White, Abby from NCIS, and Princess Brunhilda from my original story. lol I think Mandi was the only one who realized who I was supposed to be because she'd already read my character descriptions.

Yeah, I mostly got that I was Dolly Parton in renaissance garb. Odd, that. But I did learn one thing. There are PLENTY of reasons why there were no fat Princesses! LOL
After the party we stopped at the parents house, ate their food and their candy before going home where I waited for midnight to come. lol
The NaNoWriMo site is on the fritz at the moment (I wonder why!) so I'm not sure when I can update my word count next. But I'm going to keep working and hopefully get the first chapter up this evening.
I wish I had something yummy.
