(no subject)
I've got to go back over to Mom & Dad's after work today and get "mah pants!" as I forgot a couple pair of them which are desperately needed. I also need to go and deposit my pay check today on my lunch break or I'll never remember to do so. And THEN I need to check on the Dell website to see if I can pay my bill on there rather than mail it in. I'll pay about half of it now until it gets fixed. Strider's battery still isn't charging even though the battery light blinks every now and then for some odd reason I don't understand. I need to call the repair guy again if he doesn't call me back by my lunch break this afternoon.
Heroes is on tonight which is now kind of a problem. Cecily is way into 24 and some crazy stupid moron decided to put both of them on at the same day and time, Monday @ 9pm. Fortunately, we can tape one program while watching another, which I don't mind. I did already miss last weeks episode so I have no idea what's going on now anyway.
Speaking of Cecily, for those of you on my flist that are on her flist I would like to have your support in something. I'm trying to get her to ask out a certain aquaintance of ours, the very sweet guy she has spoken of before. But she is turning on all of the advice she's ever given me about dating in general and is hesitant. There's a little get together we're going to on Friday at his house and I figure that would be the perfect time to ask him to go somewhere next week.
So people, let us join our forces together and unite as one to madly "convince" my sister to ask out this fantastic person! She's a little paranoid because he's one of those people who is just danged nice to everybody in general and doesn't hesitate to compliment them. She's also a little paranoid because he is so nice and she's more on the snarky "evil laughter" side of things. Personally, the way I see it, it makes them a rather decent match because she's going to need a sweet person to balance her out I think. But that's just me.
So go on and attack narniadear whether in a comment here or a random one in her journal. Heeee.
