Summary: Yunho and Changmin have "The..." album in their hands. They must do something about it.

Changmin entered the dorm first, after taking off his shoes quickly and placing them neatly in their designated spot, he then walks to the couch and throws himself onto it letting out an exhausted sigh. While he was resting his body from a long day, he observes Yunho as he walks in with a pile of letters on one hand, and a bigger package on the other. Curious, Changmin had then raised himself up from the chair to see what the package was.
Changmin, not trying to make it sound as if he was curious, asked, “What is that hyung?”
“Fan mail as usual,” replied Yunho with a small smile.
“No, not that, the other one,” Changmin said as he finally decided to get up and snatch the package away from Yunho. He noticed the package was sent from Japan, but it did not have the sender’s address. Interested, he opened the package and took out what was inside.
Yunho, whose mouth opened quickly after seeing what it was, recognized it to be JYJ’s mini-album “The…” which was released only a few hours ago. Changmin just stood there contemplating the object. Both Yunho and Changmin knew about the album beforehand, but neither bothered to bring it up the whole day, it was as if they both agreed not to talk about the subject. Yet here, having the album physically, was completely different and changed everything. In that moment it was as if reality hit them hard, and frankly they weren’t prepared for it. A few seconds passed as if it was minutes until one of them decided to do move and do something.
“what are you…” whispered Yunho in a hoarse voice. Yunho’s cry was drowned by the sudden movement of Changmin, who without giving it any second thoughts went to kitchen and threw the album into the trash.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!?” exclaimed Yunho, as he rushed to the kitchen to retrieve the album that was thrown into the trash.
“We don’t need that hyung, not now,” murmured Changmin. Yunho can tell Changmin was struggling to try and hide his emotions, because these emotions were both just too hard try to confine and to express.
“Changmin-ah,” said Yunho in a soft voice to try and get close to his dongsaeng, he then placed his hand on Changmin’s shoulder and continued, “If we do not confront this, then it will not solve anything.”
Yunho returned to the living room, and proceeded to open the album. Opening the album he felt a sense of nostalgia and a smile drew across his lips. There, through a plethora of photos, were his friends, his brothers, and the people whom he grew to love more than anything in the world. Suddenly, those memories he accumulated at that moment had now felt distant and insignificant thrown into an abyss which separates them now.
He now felt bitter, as the epiphany had left him unpleasant, he tried to brush off the feeling by reading the tracks on the album. One track in particular had caught his attention, and it only consisted of one letter, “W.”
“Changmin-ah!” Yunho shouted so that the maknae can come back to the living room.
Changmin said in an unsympathetic voice, “No, hyung. We shouldn’t torture ourselves like this.”
Yunho ignored the maknae’s request and proceeded to take the CD to their home system. Honestly, he wasn’t sure if he had the strength to listen to CD; regardless he inserted the disk and pressed play.

The lyrics, it hit his ears like the waves of the ocean, giving him goose bumps. Throughout the song, Yunho did not dare to turn back to look at Changmin who was standing quietly.

Changmin was now threatened by the knot that was forming in his throat, preventing him from breathing. His eyes started to burn, yet he managed to not blink, and let the music and the voice of his hyungs reach his soul.
Even if time passes by, even if we're facing any kind of pain
You're our "pride" forever
What you mumbled to the stars in the night sky
Wasn't goodbye
That's what we still believe
Yunho, who was entranced by the music, did not notice the tears running down his eyes, nor did he notice his body shivering uncontrollably. His mind was filled with thoughts that had no logical reasoning; he was just submerged by the melody and into the sea of his deep emotions. He felt every word entering and taking hold of every deep pore in his body, as if leaving a physical scar.
While we're under the same sky and visualizing the same dream
We're continuing to search for the letter "W"
We'll shine in the same shape forever

“Aitakute…” Changmin brings his hand over his chest trying to suppress the feelings he was feeling. “Aitakute…” he felt something sharp pierce his heart, swallowing saliva and trying to drink air; but it was too late, his feelings got the best of him and he could not contain his tears. His cries turns into sobs as all the feelings, memories, thoughts, everything he tried to contain could not be expressed in just tears, it never will be. His legs grew weak and fell onto the couch.
We can meet you someday

Even now, it's still natural for you to be with us
Until we can meet again, we'll keep your place

We believe that we can smile with you again
You Smile Again
Yunho was still lost in his own thoughts regardless of the fact that the song was over minutes ago. The silence was then broken by the sobs from Changmin. Finally turning around, Yunho finds Changmin curled up in the couch trying to control his hiccups by covering his face with his hands. Yunho at the sight of this walks over to Changmin and tenderly brings Changmin into a strong embrace.
Both, Yunho and Changmin, just stayed there and cried together for what seemed like eternity, until their bodies were moving involuntarily from the fatigue and emotional shock. All of this was overwhelming, and Yunho just wanted to close his eyes and take control of this situation.
After Changmin had felt more in control, he raised his head up looking for comfort. Yunho looked at him, and gave him a weak smile.
“We’re going to smile again, Changmin ah~” Yunho said with confidence. It was then when they realized that this feeling was only temporary, and they will be back to their old selves in due time.
DongBangShinKi, their five hearts will continue to beat as one, linked together by one single red line. Even though the line can be stretched to almost become invisible, it will never disappear. They were sure.
