[When he found the present in the morning he was delighted! The card was even sweet, though that last line about the Princess was a little concerning, but it's not like he ever had a chance with her, right? And... well, even as a guard he never was on active duty. Was his title inside the box? It was just so exiting!
He didn't notice what his title became at first, but did wonder about the tape. Deciding it would be a good idea to see what it was, he went to check it out. It didn't take him long to shut it off with tears. He curled himself into a ball on the couch to cry.]
[Sometime later on the phone, Almaz seems to be crying more than talking.]
