Haven't posted in a while so it is time for another installment of let's bore people with my pets. At least I know how to use an LJ cut now so I won't bore you with it if you don't want to be bored.
This is my boy Remmington. He is the kindest, sweetest, troublemaker you will ever meet. He was an oopsie dog. His parents' owners wanted to breed full blooded Rottweilers but the male Rottie liked the female mutt that was living in the house better than his proposed partner. You can't choose who you love. I for one am glad the two of them got together because the result was this handsome boy.
Some of Rem's favorite things to do are: chase squirrels, chase birds, chase his brother Connor (I think you might be seeing a pattern), chew on things (like the floor, the cabinets, the kitchen table, living room chairs, his brother), play hide and seek with anyone who is dumb enough to look for him, sleep on the chairs outside in the sunshine, snuggle with Mom and Dad, and eat ice cream.
Our friends have all come to the conclusion that Rem does not think he is a dog. He sits up on his butt on a chair with his legs out in front of him. He doesn't like screen savers on computers so he will bump the mouse as soon as one comes on. He talks to you and tells you how his day was. He is great at mimicing your voice levels and speech patterns. He pets the other dogs in the house. When he goes to sleep at night he very kindly lets hubby and me share his bed, but we must cover him up with his blanket first.
We have had him since he was 6 weeks old and 6.5 pounds. He is now 41/2 and 60lbs, full of love, fun and trouble.
Guess what. I wouldn't want him any other way. He is my Remmy.
A flashback to his early days!
