Начиная с 1993 г существует международная премия, присуждаемая разработчикам ПО в различных сферах деятельности. Премия называется CODiE Awards (сайт премии), она учреждена Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA). Премия существует для таких областей разработки, чтобы было понятно, как:  Лучшее решения для Интеграции, Лучшее решение для управления контентом, Лучшее решение для управления базами данных и пр.
В этом 2011 г. впервые в мировой практике (!) появилась номинация "Лучшее решение для бизнес-анализа и Конкурентной разведки" (в прошлом 2010 г. такой номинации не было, во всякой случае она называлась так "Лучшее решение для бизнес -анализа и управления знаниями")
За что присуждают новую премию разработчикам - "ПО, которое лучше всего облегчает анализ данных, исследование, и/или получение конкурентоспособной информации, позволяя менеджменту принимать стратегические решения. ПО может выполнять/иметь следующие функции:

- аналитическая обработка данных онлайн,
- сбор данных,
- управление эффективностью бизнеса, 
- сравнительный анализ,
- глубокий анализ текста, 
- прогнозирующая аналитика."

4. InsideView for Sales - InsideView
