The good and The bad
It's Sunday night after Rio Grande Leather here in Albuquerque. I had a great time this weekend. My first attempt at Dungeon Mistress went well, from my point of view and based on some feedback I've been getting. I'm glad I was able to make it work and provide a safe, calm, accepting space for people to play. Thank you Cupcake for hauling the equipment, and to Apple, for being my minion. I have absolute confidence if I ask her to take care of x,y,z, - thant x,y,and z and maybe even some a and b will get done too. DesertWind worked hard to line up the dungeon monitors and they all did an outstanding job using vigilant watchfulness, and kept everything going well. Of course LeatherGirlD, your help was perfet. Everyone just jumped in when needed. Our guests were considerate and respectful of each other and we had 2 nights of very good energy in the dungeon. I appreciate the producers having the confidence in me and allowing me to spread my wings.
Now, back at home, I’m having “The Drop” already setting in. My son, who is 18 now, but disabled, apparently had had a toileting strike while I was away, and has been pooping and peeing solely in his pants since Friday. Including pooping in his diaper as I wheeled him home from the baby sitter’s. And Most upsetting to me, my dog has decided that since I was out having my Grand Adventure this weekend, that he should be out having one too. He's been missing for 2 days now. My house is so lonely without him. I don't have a partner to come home to. Someone to ask, how was your day dear? Skylar is there, happy to see me as soon as I walk in the door, and follows me all around. (or should I say herds me all around). He comes up for scritches behind the ears and on the belly and he does an awesome job licking my feet. He spoons really well in bed too. He is my family. I need him to come home. I hope his Grand Adventure ends up safe and sound back at home here with me.
