no watching in real time but marathoning in 5 days yes \o/
the mini was all kind of awesome because as soon as i heard the drums i was hooked XD LOL no really, i started thinking wow i'm going to love starbuck and lee! but... nope!
the argument with bill before the ceremony dropped all my expectations XD seriously, lee, just no mary was quite a disappointment at the beginning, her acting was so subtle i noticed most of it on a second or third rewatch LOL she's great, you just have to know her and i only watched independence day and donnie darko before i watched the mini so i wasn't familiar with her
i knew there was a ship but fandom makes a lot of stuff up (like when i was convinced effie and haymitch were a thing but then i watched the movie and it wasn't O.o but... all those gifsets and fanarts!) so i was determined to see which ship i'd love and i tried shipping kara and lee but it never started ._. you have to like the characters individually before you like them together and that was the case with bill and laura for me ♥
so in the beginning i saw sparks XD yes, they bumped head but they also spoke as considerate people and i fell in love with bill when he gave the speech and with laura and the baby thing XD OMG ♥ she's a BAMF! and she's right! of course cancer was in the way so i was ready for the fall (not really ;_; but we don't talk about that)
then watching the mini i instantly liked boomer (what?) and by the end i was completely shocked to see she was a cylon! (and thrilled too LOL i might be a cylon lover! my world was falling apart!) but by the time i watched 33 i was sort of over that crush =P too many lookalike ._. it was confusing and she was seducing helo and WUT? the other one was banging chief and she had no chemistry with either of them ._. six on the other hand was creepy as hell and i thought most men were probably willing to sacrify humanity for a night with her O.o the thing she asks at the very beginning: are you human? prove it... and then proceed to seduce the poor guy who's completely ok with it on a physical level but reluctant anyway... O.o *shudder* she's beautiful and tricia is really great but gave me the creeps
it was the first time for me watching a scifi show and think: the only different thing is that they are on spaceships LOL they didn't even had cloacs or laser weapons! come on! so yeah, that's what made me curious in the first place and then came all the rest ._. #nerd
