For all viewers, what did you think of the mini-series? Often, a show's pilot is weak but has enough glimmers of hope to help you hang on. Where did these episodes go wrong and right?

Moddy bugs watched the mini, saw the sparks, but then figured the show would be all about the younguns, so checked out into Daybreak. Did you believe there was any hope for the characters to have a life or were you equally cynical that they'd be the noble leaders?
