Happy New Year!
Last night to bring in the new year Simon, Tyler, and I went to a clubbish, type western bar that seemed as though it was experiencing its opening night. The d.j. if you want to call him that, was an ozzie that has been in China for three years without any real job. We met him earlier in the day while he was passing out cards for his "party". The place had a lot of atmosphere and cheap cocktails, but the "d.j." sucked so we ventured over to a chinese disco and had a great time. We got to count down to the new yar in Chinese and dance for a bit. It was big night for Tyler. He went to his first time ever to a night club and his first time to ever consume so much beer. Shout out Sheddy, woot-woot! I was so amazed to see such young people holding fireworks. There were five year olds holding in their hands what people in the states would light from a beer bottle. The firecrackers went on until early this morning. Well off to a park now, Simon is a bit impatient :)
