~Chapter 2~
While in the Tenebris, the heir to the vampire clan was out looking for preys. In the land of the Dark, inhabitants mainly knew black magic and were carnivores, thus the frequent killing within clans and species. Vampires had been ruling the place for centuries now, since most of the other species did not prove to be stronger than them. Yet in this decade, there seems to be a worthy fight for the highest privileges - between the vampires and werewolves. The heir to the vampire throne was a smart, tall and charming guy, hair a brown mop and long slender fingers. He seems ordinary at the first look, but as the night falls, his skin begins to turn pale and fangs protrude out of his gums. Vampire lasses would die to know him, as they did once before. Little did they know, he was a bit of a different vampire to the rest.
Kyuhyun was out in the forest looking for something to suck on since he had a really itchy gum that day, when he spotted a moving figure half a mile down south of him. "Hm... My eyesight never fails me... Now now, let's see what we have there." Kyuhyun mumbled, smirking to himself. He ran up a tree, perching one branch and stalking the figure's movement, as the figure seemed engrossed in whatever it was doing, Kyuhyun leaped skilfully from branch to branch, tree to tree. It wasn't long before the figure was right below him still rather occupied. Squinting, Kyuhyun nearly let's out a long laugh, before clamping him hand over his mouth and grinned.
With one pounce, Kyuhyun dropped right onto the figure, whispering a quick "Boo-yah!" into the figure's ear, startling the crap out of it.
"What the hell is wrong with you!!" The figure stood up, arms akimbo while staring at Kyuhyun. The other was still in a fit of laughter, nearly choking on his own saliva if it wasn't for the figure who gave him a terribly painful smack on his back.
"OUCH that hurts you creep of a LEEHYUKJAE!" Kyuhyun shrieked, emphasising on the first and last word of his sentence. He tried to reach up to that whacked spot, now turning itchy as he barely was able to scratch it. "Now it's turning itchy you twit." Kyuhyun groaned, unable to please the itchiness. A glint in Hyuk Jae's eyes and a shimmer of extended Wolverine-like claws. "Don't you DARE try rip my clothes! It's NEW!" Kyuhyun warned.
"Awwws... 3 months is new for you heh? You wore that the last time I met you~" Hyuk Jae, or Eunhyuk as he preferred to be called, replied in a mocking tone, hairy hands plucking at the other's robe. Kyuhyun sighed in frustration and pried his robe from the other's hands, immediately earning a pout and whine from the latter like a child with his toys taken away.
"Stop that. You're ugly for Shisus sake." Kyuhyun rolled his eyes, then patting the old dog's head. You would have guessed it. Eunhyuk was definitely not a vampire, with a buff build and hairy limbs, plus claws, vampires obviously didn't have claws. He was a werewolf, and yes, the young of the current Werewolf champion.
They were the supposed chosen ones deciding the true winner and ruler of the Tenebris for the next centuries, yet oracles of the various dark creatures hadn't calculated the meeting of the two kids at the age of 6, and now having become best of friends, the fight has to wait.
"Hey, what were you doing just now?" Kyuhyun asked, not forgetting to add with a delighted smirk. "Before I scared you?" the hairy one was definitely doing something secretive, and Kyuhyun loved to dig out secrets. Eating or reading, he was hiding under his own shadow. "Secretive, heh?" Kyuhyun's grin grew wider, seeing the undecided frown and then a quickly shook of the other's head. He brought his slender fingers to his chin and stroked it slowly, judging the one in front of him with a piercing stare. It wasn't long before the werewolf finally fidgeted and a corner of something was caught poking out of his thick long fur.
"AHA! What's this?" Kyuhyun leaped forward with super-speed and grabbed the protruding corner of what looked like silvery-paper. "What the... Oh so holy Shisus please bless me~" The vamp brought his palms together and rubbed it while looking up at the stars, sarcastically 'praying'. "Reading porn so late in the night?" Kyuhyun rolled his eyes then smirked, bringing the book up to his face and opening it right to the page he knew where Eunhyuk's porn idol lay naked. "Youie, is it?" He turned the book so that it could be seen by Eunhyuk, smirk still evident on his face.
"W-W-What a-are you going to d-do with h-her?" Eunhyuk stuttered strongly, small eyes growing wider by the second as he stared at 'Youie', drool starting to form.
"Oh... Nothing..." Kyuhyun shrugged, turning the book back, 'Youie' facing him. "Just-" He brought his long slender tongue up the page of the book, leaving a long line of wet saliva then stopping at the top. "-this." A final glint in his eyes shimmered and he ripped the page off using his extended canines and tossed it into the air, not forgetting to quickly summon a huge gust of wind upwards as 'Youie' flew past Eunhyuk's face, ascending to such great heights that even a werewolf's leap couldn't reach. 'Youie' turned and turned, as if waving a final goodbye to Eunhyuk.
"Ahhhhhhhhh I hate you!! BRATTTT!!!!" Eunhyuk howled, falling to his knees and burying his hairy muzzle into his paws, mumbling what Kyuhyun knew as 'werewolf curses'.
"Oh come on... She's not even real." Kyuhyun folded his arms across his chest and rolled his eyes, stating oh-so-matter-of-factly. "And you're GAY. Forgot?" Kyuhyun reminded, emphasising on the G-word. Kyuhyun smiled sincerely and helped Eunhyuk up, wrapping his long arm around the equally skinner werewolf, proceeding to head back home, itchy gum totally forgotten thanks to Eunhyuk.
