My sister called my Grandparents to get the number for Ev's Grandma's cellphone so she could call me. She wasn't just calling to call.
She got a hold of me to tell me Dad had gotten his fingers with the saw while he was cutting cedarwood for her shop project. She was scared and oh my fuck I don't blame her. She called again to tell me that they managed to stitch one of his fingers back together(albeit like a jigsaw puzzle) and that they were bringing a specialist from Taos to look at the other.
So yeah. I'm kinda really fucking worried. Things sound okay but if he can't work on jewelry, none of them have money back home, and Dad doesn't have any insurance anyway. He's a tough old bastard but shit, he's done crazy things and he has never ever been hurt this bad.
