Howdy! The return of DOODY! Pt. 2abiglionDecember 17 2005, 23:56:48 UTC
That brings me to my youngest, Shannon....Light of my life and pain in my....well, you know. She's actually doing pretty well lately, bringing her grades up from D's and C's to A's and B's, and having a great time in the church youth group and her musical theater class. She's going to pull me through this crap in spite of myself, I can tell! Personally, she has become one of those cute, smart and popular girls who wouldn't give ME the time of day when I was a frosh! I can only hope that she still likes living here, because it would break my heart if she were to leave at this point.
I am STILL picking out my shotgun in anticipation of what promises to be a busy hunting season, once the local male high school population figures out how great she really is! ;)~
Both she and my son are traveling up to Ohio to stay with their maternal grandparents for Christmas. That will leave me alone with Naomi and her family this year.
I'm really missing Mom this year...It's a bittersweet season.
On top of it all, I have become a grandfather! Naomi's daughter (Trish) has given birth to Marisa Mercedes Medina (3-M) in San Diego, California. And after the first of the year, Naomi will be traveling there to see her Granddaughter for the first time. >sigh<
I can only guess what she's feeling, being so far away from someone she loves so much, and another she loves and has never even met!
