non-wool sock yarn!

I discovered Simply Socks yarn company today, and they have a couple of non-wool sock yarns. If I'm feeling really extravagant some day I might knit myself some socks out of Fleece Artist HandMaiden Silk Cashmere. Holy cow, though, I'll have to be feeling really extravagant because I don't want ankle socks and that would be a $50 pair of socks

Fixation is interesting to work with - you need to make sure to not hold it tightly and stretch it out for the best results.

(This is something of a struggle for me.)

I have some fixation, I just didn't realize it came in stripes. I haven't tried it yet, so thanks for that tip!

Interestingly enough, I'm working on a sock in Fixation right now - I'm surprised I didn't have it out on Sunday, but I guess I was focusing on the other socks and then the sweater. Anyway yeah, they totally have stripey yarn.
