non-wool sock yarn!
I discovered Simply Socks yarn company today, and they have a couple of non-wool sock yarns. If I'm feeling really extravagant some day I might knit myself some socks out of Fleece Artist HandMaiden Silk Cashmere. Holy cow, though, I'll have to be feeling really extravagant because I don't want ankle socks and that would be a $50 pair of socks right there! Yikes!
On a more frugal note, I like this color of Cascade Fixation Spraydyed. It's a lot more reasonably priced too.
