It was really good for them I think - they went up and touched the coffin and lit candles and wrote a card to go on the flowers, it was bright and sunny (apart from the vicars sermon when there was a sudden unexplained downpour :) - My mum never liked the vicar!! - His opening comments were "If Rosemary had a song to sum her up it would be "My Way"" - He did a good sermon actually - it wasn't saying she was all nice and wonderful, but said that she had strong views about everything and did what she thought was best for her family - nicely done - there were a lot of laughs and smiles)
The rest of the service was just as Mum wanted (naturally!) very "high Church" lots of Hymns, incense (Isaac was playing wafting the smoke and making it curl in the sunshine) loads of Hallelujahs - we all felt we did what she wanted. There was a really good turn out - the church was pretty full and at the wake I have never "mingled" so much in my life!! I put up photos around the wall of my mum's life - if you want to have a look they are at...

Anyway - that is all done - last night me and Sherlock were so tired we both were in bed by 8:30 and sleeping by 8:45!
I hope I can now catch up here some more, but it is getting tricky having access to the bloody computer! I will have to arrange an hour a day that is mine I think!
