Llamas for the Needy

Oh, my sweet stars, "Day After Tomorrow" was tizzight. I saw it right after having finished the book Pompeii, so I was already in the mood to watch cities get destroyed my mother nature, that old hag. But if you have an axe, why don't you just break through the door? (Aside: Pompeii would make one kick ass movie. I mean, just imagine the storms of falling volcanic rock and the admiral's fleet sailing uncontrollably in an ocean of pumice and the burning clouds of fire and when Attilius climbs down into the aquaduct. Oh, man, it would be awesome. I bet Kiara Knightly would be down for playing Corelia, and for Corax I see that guy who looks a lot like a bald ape from Alien Resurrection.) In the same respect, I saw Troy right after having finished The Illiad. Troy was good, but Oliver Stone's movie about Alexander the Great has him fight an elephant! We can look forward to that, Greg.
One final note about movies: My screenplay for the Stephens/Charrow project is already on page 33 but I'm not even half finished with it yet, so its looking less and less like a thirty minute short unless I do some major cutting.
So I went to services at the synagogue last night and realized I dont know how to spell synagogue. Also, a girl was having her Bat Mitzvah and the place was packed. She had done her mitzvot project working at an animal shelter and the entire reception hall was decorated with animal toys... even the chocolate fondue fountain. During her speech, she said "blah blah blah blah blah, and it is my goal to help a needy family get a llama." At this point I yelled, "And what's a needy family going to do with a llama, eat it?" Actually, I didn't yell, but the thought of giving a needy family a llama was enough alone to keep me struggling to hold in my laughter for the remainder of the ceremony. Ah, kids and their wild ambitions.
