better than last night :-)
so today is father's day and yes things are better but still not the same. and they probly won't be for a long time. and my dad is coming with me to colorado and new jersey. i just don't want my mom to be alone and i know that she will be sad because he's not there so ya this one's for you mom. but the best part about colorado and new jersey is that we won't be staying with our parents! omgsh thats amazing! sorry if i sound like a little kid but i've never got to do that before! lol i'm so excited! and the parents aren't allowed in our rooms! how great! lol plus we're going white water rafting next monday! gosh i'm so excited! its gonna be a blast! another first! lol.
so i'm going to lunch with laura kim and alex on tues at kemah so that should be fun! it's gonna be great to actually get out of the house and out of humble! i mean not thats is incredibly boring or anything... neways that'll be great.
so today during our team meeting at my coaches house was great because Kelsie's dad Doug gives us these pep talks that are so much fun and he always has new ideas and games to play to overcome our fears and what not. so today he gave us wooden boards that were and inch thick (and if you don't know thats freakin thick!) and we wrote all the teams we've been on and yada yada well at the end of his pep talk we get to break the boards by karate chopping them with our hands! let me tell you what it was so much fun! (except for the minor scratches you got on your hand after you broke it) but it was still so much fun lol so to our surprise most of us were able to break the board on our first try! and even brooke's lil brother did it! so while Doug is showing us the form of breakin a board with your hand kim is like bursting with excitement and just screams HIIIIYYAAAAHHH!!!! and then she had this look like omgsh did i just do that out loud!!?? it was the funniest thing i've seen all week omgsh it was so freakin funny!! wow!! newho that just made my freakin month and now i haven't been able to stop laughing about it since. lol gosh....gotta love ya kim!
neways today has really helped clear my head and get focused back on softball because God knows i'm gonna need all the focus i can get this next week and a half. i still miss all my friends and the same ole story.
