with regard to frivolity
remember my totally frivolous hair post from the summer? well, i think i can now say that i have finally gotten the hang of this hair-straightening business. i was making it a lot more time consuming than it needs to be - in the winter, when combed straight with some product, it pretty much goes almost completely straight on its own. so i can just let it almost dry and then just touch up the top layer and the back with a brush and dryer. i still don't think it *suits* me as well as curly hair, but since i probably have to count myself out of the truly curly club, i guess this is what it's going to be now. i still hold out hope that it will fix itself in the future though :-)
