Yes. I need to figure out some things I'm interested in that don't require heavy commitments. I've met a few people, but no one that I've really clicked with. But I've always made friends slowly (if easily), so I'm not actually frustrated <3. I'm happier to have a few really good friends than to have tons of people around. I just need to work more on the really good friends.
Oh, actually, did M&P mention our "cousins" who live in Israel? Their youngest son (who is a few years younger than me) is going to school in Victoria. We went to a great student play a couple of weeks ago (they do $7 preview nights) which is where we found out about the $13 symphony tickets. But he's in Vancouver visiting his girlfriend this weekend.
Job: I'm an "office and content manager" at a company that sells advertising slots on digital displays. It is so far satisfying my organizational needs, and should end up with some good project opportunities. It's inconveniently located (urgh, long bus ride, although it's not as bad when I'm not having a horrible back week) but fairly laid back.
