It just occurred to me that when they finish the 264/Westport Road interchange, it will mean I have to deal with That Damn Train a *lot* less. ONWARD WITH CONSTRUCTION, I SAY!

I think I'm finally in my NaNoWriMo groove.

Maybe coming soon will be Dear Character, I'm Sorry. But to be honest, this weekend I have finally gotten to the place where I like my novel. The love triangle started tonight and things might just get delightfully steamy. :D

Now, I just need to get into the Cybils reading groove.

I would just like to say HOORAY for Super Target in Schaumburg because they had the three cheese & broccoli Lean Pockets that I haven't been able to find anywhere else for, like, a year. I stocked up. :D

1. Finished up a preschool storytime this afternoon at a local early childhood class. When I was passing out stickers at the end, one little girl looks up at me, smiles shyly, and says, "I like you!"  Can I get an "awwwwww"?

I forgot my water bottle at home today. It was severely unfortunate due to the fact that the water up here tastes funny to me and I prefer to filter it. I bought a bottle of water in the vending machine, but it was not enough!! So I was very thirsty all afternoon ( Read more... )

Was afraid I was running a fever, but now I think my apartment is just too hot.

Went to Target intending to buy The Office, but got 30 Rock instead and it rang up 10$ cheaper than it was marked! Score! (I would have gotten The Office, but they were sold out of the normal one and I don't want the deluxe edition for 7 dollars more.)

When I was in middle school (and maybe early high school?), I went to the Young Actor's Institute at YPAS. And we took a dance class and we were asked to choreograph a short piece to a song of our choosing. Well, one year I made up a routine to King of New York from Newsies and I still remember some of it. :)
