As requested by
hannah_arashi, I would like to present this one-shot that I whipped up by using her idea. It is long and kind of cute. It was kind of hard for me to think of cute ways after reading the rumor about Sho. (I don't know why but I can't see Sho as a nice and caring guy anymore..) I also wanted to post this earlier in the day but I've been re-watching Arashi no Shukudai-kun episodes again...
Also I want to announce that I have made a
Request Page for anyone who wants to request an idea or story that you want me to elaborate or write about. More details are on the post.
*Please give half-credits to
hannah_arashi for her lovely idea. I hope I fulfill your expectations. I wrote this story from a viewpoint that anyone can be in. So hopefully you feel like you're in the original character's shoes. Enjoy!
✹The conversation between a Japanese person and a foreigner is kind of hard for me to write because I have to indicate which parts are spoken in Japanese or English. If I didn't mention the language please assume it is spoken in Japanese.

Anata to no Deai (Meeting You)
Hannah Tennyson was excited and anxious that she was finally in a city where she longed to visit. She was on vacation with her parents in Tokyo, Japan.
This year was a bit different for the Tennyson family. Her parents decided to take her out on a vacation to congratulate her for completing her four years in university. At first, her family was a bit skeptical about going to Tokyo but after a few persuasions and begging here and there from Hannah, her parents finally gave in.
When Hannah touched down at the Haneda International Airport in Tokyo, she was amazed and thrilled to see how Tokyo was so much different than where she came from.
As Hannah and her family walked towards the luggage pick-up area, she noticed similar faces on posters posted around in the airport. She wondered who they were and why their faces were everywhere.
Then Hannah and her family decided to go to the hotel and drop off their stuff before they headed out for dinner. Hannah walked up to an idle taxi that was parked beside a sidewalk. Hannah knocked twice on the taxi’s window before the taxi driver noticed her.
The taxi driver rolled down the passenger side window. “Ah, sorry. Do you need a drive to somewhere?” The taxi driver asked in English to Hannah in a strong Japanese accent. Hannah smiled and nodded her head to him.
The taxi driver opened the doors and got out of his car to help the Tennyson’s with their luggage. After the taxi driver closed the trunk of his car and every climbed into his taxi. Hannah sat in the passenger seat, meanwhile her parents sat in the back seats.
“Can you take us to the Hilton Tokyo Hotel?” Hannah asked the taxi driver. He nodded his head and began to drive away from the airport.
Hannah gasped as she saw the view right in front of her. She couldn’t believe that her wish came true. She was so glad to be in Tokyo and happy that she was going to stay there for a week.
“Do you speak Japanese?” The taxi driver asked Hannah as he glanced at Hannah a couple of times. Hannah looked at the taxi driver and began to observe him very closely. He was wearing a blue plaid t-shirt. He was balding and his nose hair were long and sticking out.
Hannah chuckled under her breath and said. “Chotto.” The taxi driver nodded at her and he started to drive onto the highway. Hannah started to teach herself Japanese 2 years ago. Even though her Japanese may be rusty in some areas, she knew the basic words and expressions.
“Is this first visit to Tokyo?” The taxi driver asked in his broken English. Hannah looked back at her parents who stayed silent in the car. They shrugged their shoulders at Hannah and they were hoping that Hannah would be able to speak on their behalf.
Hannah nodded her head and kept smiling. She was beginning to think that this driver was going to talk to her until they reached their destination. “Hai.”
Then Hannah slowly slumped in her seat and rested her elbow on the armrests, while resting her head in her hand. It was going to be a hard and long first day in Tokyo for Hannah.
On Hannah’s third day in Tokyo, her parents wanted to visit Shibuya. Her parents read on the Internet that Shibuya is known as the fashion district in Tokyo. They wanted to see if they could get traditional kimonos as gifts to their relatives back in Florida.
On the other hand, Hannah wanted to buy some clothes that she could show to her friends back in Florida. She wanted to brag to them that what she was wearing clothes that are popular in Tokyo.
As Hannah looked around the shops in Shibuya, she looked forward to notice her parents weren’t walking in front of her anymore.
Hannah cocked her head and began to scan everywhere to see where her parents went. Hannah started to panic and freak out when she couldn’t find her parents anywhere.
Hannah quickly pulled out a map from her bag to figure out where she was when someone shoulders bumped into hers.
“HEY!” She heard someone shout at her. Hannah looked at him and became frightened by his loud voice.
~*~
Sakurai Sho, from the famous idol group Arashi, was walking towards rehearsals that were being held at a building located in Shibuya. Sho wanted to drive to the building but, because of his boss banning from all of the members from driving, he was forced to take the subway to work that day.
Sho was about 10 minutes late than the scheduled time because there was a delay with the subways that day. Anyways, as Sho quicken his walking pace, he noticed a lost foreigner looking at a map.
“Yabai. Yabai. Yabai. Everyone is going to get mad at me.” Sho muttered under his breath as he shook his head. When Sho was about pass the lost foreigner in front of him, she accidentally bumped into him and unconsciously, Sho shouted “HEY!”
Sho quickly closed his mouth and he began to have a worried look on his face. He didn’t mean to scare the foreigner but he accidentally did. Now Sho felt apologetic to her and somehow wanted to make it up to her.

“Gomenasai. Honto ni gomenasai.” Hannah started to bow her head to the man in front of her. She didn’t know what she did to him but she knew that manners and respect always came first in Japan.
“Iie. Iie.” Sho muttered as he had an uncomfortable look on his face. He was thinking that he should have been the one to apologize first but she beat him to it.
Sho felt weird and guilty for making a foreigner apologize to him. “Do you speak Japanese?” Sho said in English with his strong Japanese accent.
Hannah looked at Sho and slowly nodded her head. “Chotto.” Sho quickly checked his watch and noticed that he was now 30 minutes late to rehearsals.
“Are you free?” Sho asked in English to Hannah. Hannah slowly nodded her head as she furrowed her eyebrows. She wondered why a Japanese person would ask her that kind of question.
Sho grabbed Hannah’s wrist and said. “I want to show you something.” All of a sudden, Sho began to pull Hannah towards the building where Arashi were having dance rehearsals.
~*~
“So, why did you bring her here again?” Nino whispered to Sho. Ohno, Aiba and Jun began to look at Sho for his answer.
Hannah was sitting in her chair and looking around the dance studio. She wondered why Sho, who she has not seen before, dragged her to a dance studio.
“It’s a long story. I just want to give her something in return.” Sho whispered back to his members. Sho and the rest of Arashi were huddling in a circle. They didn’t want Hannah to hear their conversation, even though Hannah could recognize some words that they were saying.
“Let’s just practice and imagine she isn’t here.” Jun whispered. Aiba covered his face with his hands and muttered. “Ahh.. This is embarrassing knowing that a foreigner is watching your dance rehearsals.”
Nino sighed and Sho rolled his eyes as he shook his head. “Let’s just practice okay?” Sho said. Everyone nodded their head and they began to walk towards their places for their dance routine.
Hannah turned her head left and then to her right as she saw the 5 guys walking. She wondered why Sho brought her here when he doesn’t even know her name.
Hannah glanced at her watch that she was wearing. She was worried that her parents might have called the police because they were separated from each other. Hannah wanted to go find them but she had no clue where she was in Tokyo. When Sho pulled her to the dance studio, Hannah was dumbfounded and confused that a Japanese guy like him would make her enter a dance studio with him.
All of a sudden, Hannah heard music starting to play and she was immediately mesmerized by their dance moves.
After Arashi’s dance routine, Hannah clapped because she was amazed that these men could dance like that.
“Sho-kun, she’s clapping for us right now.” Jun whispered to Sho as all of them started to take quick glances at Hannah.
“Ano…” Hannah shouted. Before she finished her sentence, she pulled out a ‘How to speak Japanese in Japan’ handbook. “Wow.. How to say wow…” Hannah muttered as she tried to find the word in the book.
“Sugoi. Honto ni sugoi.” Hannah said to them. Arashi bowed their heads and somehow they were comfortable with her around.
“Sho-kun, I’m glad that she applauded use but don’t you think you should show her the way out? We can’t concentrate if she stays with us the entire time.” Nino said as a grin appeared on his face.
“Ano!” Hannah shouted from her seat. She overheard bits of their conversation and she couldn’t help but to assume that she wasn’t really wanted in the room.
“Just show me how to get back to Shibuya.” Hannah said in Japanese. Arashi started to look at each other and they couldn’t believe that she understood their situation in the room.
“I’ll take you back.” Sho said and quickly grabbed his cell phone that was in his bag. “Just continue without me.” Sho said as he escorted Hannah out of the dance studio.
Meanwhile, the 4 remaining members cocked their heads at each other and then Ohno muttered. “How come Sho-kun gets to arrive here late and then gets a break to drop her off? I should be fishing by now…”
Jun rolled his eyes and smacked Ohno lightly on his head. “Just forget about it. You have the next few days off just to fish so don’t complain.” Jun muttered as he passed Ohno. Ohno sighed and quickly closed his mouth.

“Sorry for suddenly bringing you to the studio.” Sho said to Hannah. Hannah smiled and shook her head. “It’s okay. I’m happy that I spent a few hours with you. It was fun. I got to experience something completely new to me.” Hannah said in English. Sho smiled as he understood what she was talking about while walking alongside her.
He felt that Hannah was nice and considerate; also he was relieved that she didn’t exactly know who Sho and Arashi were. He was able to handle this type of interaction between someone outside of the entertainment industry.
“Your dancing was amazing. Are you guys...dancers?” Hannah asked Sho in English. Sho chuckled under his breath and nodded his head. “Kind of…” He muttered in English and started to scratch his head. He didn’t want to reveal his true identity to her since she was a foreigner. He was afraid of what will happen once she knows that he’s an idol.
“Ah, a crepe store!” Hannah exclaimed in Japanese as she looked at the crepe being made. Sho started to stare at Hannah from where he was standing; he was surprised at her reaction towards the crepes.
“Do you want one?” Sho asked her in English. Hannah widened her eyes and quickly looked at Sho. Sho started to giggle as he noticed that Hannah’s eyes were sparkling with excitement. “Ah, we’ll take 2 chocolate crepes.” Sho said to the crepe maker.
The crepe maker started to spread chocolate cream on 2 hot and fresh crepes. Then he wrapped them and handed them to Sho. Sho handed one to Hannah and in the other hand, he gave the exact change to the crepe maker. Sho smiled at him and then he turned his head towards Hannah. Hannah was staring at her crepe. He started to wonder why she would stare at her food like that.
“Aren’t you going to eat it?” Sho asked in Japanese as he tried to hold back his laughter. Hannah looked at Sho and giggled. “I’m just so happy to be eating one. This is my first time trying out a crepe in Japan. Apparently they’re good.” Hannah replied back in Japanese as she smiled while looking at her crepe.
Sho nodded his head and he began to think that meeting Hannah wasn’t a bad thing after all. Hannah slowly took a bite and widened her eyes; she was shocked that it tasted so good. “Ah.. Umai.” Hannah muttered under her breath. Sho nodded his head and began to eat his crepe.
“I’ll take you back to where I met you.” Sho said as he looked at Hannah. Hannah turned her head towards him and nodded her head. Then Sho chuckled and continued to walk beside Hannah. Hannah became speechless after taking one bite of her crepe.
Hannah and Sho slowly approached to the spot where they first met. In the distance, she heard her parents calling for her. She also noticed that they had many bags in their hands. “Well it was nice meeting you…” Sho trailed off.
He had totally forgotten to ask for Hannah’s name. “Hannah Tennyson desu.” Sho smiled at her and said in English. “It was nice meeting you Hannah.”
Hannah giggled and then Sho was about to walk away from her when she shouted. “Chotto.”
Sho tossed his head behind him to look at Hannah. He wondered why she had stopped him. Hannah smiled and then approached Sho once more. “I have a quick question to ask you.” Hannah asked in Japanese. Sho folded his arms and then he nodded his head to her.
Hannah turned her head and then she started to point at a huge billboard across the street. “Is that you?” Sho slowly turned his head and looked at what she was pointing at.
Sho laughed and said. “Hai.” Hannah slowly nodded her head as she began to wonder who this guy actually is. “Ah, sou ka… Well I want to thank you for a lovely day today and for buying me a crepe. Arigato gozaimasu.” Hannah bowed her head and began to walk towards her parents who were standing and looking at her.
Hannah tossed her head and waved good-bye to Sho. “Maybe we might meet again.” She shouted to him. Sho nodded his head and chuckled as he shouted back. “Maybe we will.” He turned around and started to walk back to the dance studio.

Hannah started to stare at her surroundings once more. She wanted to savor the Japanese air once more before she got aboard on her plane back to America.
Hannah was walking behind her parents and looked out the windows beside her. Then she noticed familiar faces posted on the plane.
Hannah looked around and noticed a flight attendant walking in her direction. “Chotto sumimasen.” Hannah said to catch the flight attendant’s attention. The flight attendant looked at her and cocked her head.
“Um, I was just wondering whose faces are on that plane in the docking area right now?” Hannah asked in English. The flight attendant gave her a very friendly smile and said. “Arashi.”
Hannah cocked her head; she didn’t understand what she meant by the word ‘Arashi’. She started to wonder if they were a storm. “They are an idol group. You can go to the airport’s shop and buy their CD.” The flight attendant said before she left Hannah alone.
Hannah was still confused and puzzled about what she meant, so she took the flight attendant’s advice and visited the airport’s shop.
Hannah looked around the shop before she recognized a few faces on a cover of a CD. Hannah smiled and asked the front counter who they were. The cashiers weren’t very helpful but Hannah decided to buy the CD just for keepsakes. She wanted to always remember her encounter with Sho.
When Hannah arrived back in America, she began to discover that the man she bumped into was Sakurai Sho of Arashi. She was surprised that she bumped into a famous person. She started to become an Arashi fan because of her encounter with Sho.
Hannah is planning to make another trip back to Tokyo where hopefully Sho and her will encounter each other again.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
