Chapter 4- On Their Break..
"Let's go to the beach tomorrow!" Yamapi, the leader of the group smiled and shouted to everyone in the same room. "I heard it's going to be sunny and warm. Nice weather to have before summer arrives." Yamapi tried to convince his group members to come along for the trip. "Plus, its a good time to bond on our day off, so what do you say?" Yamapi asked with his glossy puppy eyes. He gave smiles to everyone that no girl could resist.
"I don't know, Pi..." Koyama said. When the room was totally silent, Sayaka came in and noticed the awkward atmosphere in the room. "Ne, what is everyone doing? Aren't you guys suppose to be packing up?" Sayaka asked. Everyone looked at each other with smirks on their faces. "Ne, Sayaka-chan. We want to take you somewhere." Tegoshi said with a big long grin on his face.

"I thought you guys were going to take me somewhere I actually want to go." Sayaka folded her arms and was angry at NEWS, who was taking her to the beach on her day off. "I wanted to do some reading today.." Sayaka whined as the van they rented, exited the highway.
Yamapi drove the van and Sayaka sat in the passenger seat. While the other 5 members sat in the back, squished together. Ryo and Tegoshi sat in the very back seats. Tegoshi's stuff couldn't fit in the trunk so his stuff took up a seat. While Koyama, Shige and Massu sat in the second row.
"Come on, Sayaka-chan! Today we should have some fun!" Tegoshi tried to cheer her up. Sayaka poked her head in between the driver's seat and the passenger's seat and stared at Tegoshi. His smiled slowly turned into a frown. Ryo laughed while the other three were scared of her stare.
Sayaka properly sat back in her seat. She crossed her arms and looked out her window. "Wow, there's a lot of cows here.." She muttered to herself. Yamapi heard her and said. "You haven't been here before?" Yamapi asked as he gave quick glances to her. Sayaka shook her head and heard weird noises coming from behind her. Sayaka turned around and saw every member was sleeping. Massu and Shige were snoring loudly. Sayaka knew that the past week, they had intense rehearsals. They deserved some good rest.
Each day they would wake up at 5 a.m. and then go home at 11 p.m. It was preparation for their Asia concert tour. They were exhausted, sleepy and it was hard for them to concentrate with so much stress. Sayaka knew that she had to let them have at least a one day break before their concert tour.
"Johnny-san, can you please let NEWS have a one day break before their concert. They have been progressing well, I want them to be perfect when the time comes for their concert." Sayaka asked as Johnny looked at some papers. He started to make weird faces, which made Sayaka question if he was listening to her.
"Only one day of rest. After that, they continue their intense practice." Johnny smiled at Sayaka who bowed her head and left the room.
She walked into NEWS dance studio and told them the good news.
Sayaka and NewS arrived at a beach in Chiba, filled with half naked men and bikini filled women. Everyone stretched out from the long drive and set up their towels and stuff. Every thing was unpacked and the members ran to the beach, taking off their shirts on the way.
Sayaka placed an umbrella, a towel and her notebook on the warm sand. While looking at her notebook, she observed her entries of their progress. It has already been three weeks since she started to be their assistant manager but it felt like she was their personal manager. Since the real manager is too caught up with his child on the way, Sayaka was left with everything.
"Are you coming in?" Ryo asked Sayaka as he was walking towards the water. Sayaka looked up and shook her head. "I can't swim.." Ryo nodded and just ran into the water. Leaving Sayaka behind, by herself.
"Sayaka-chan! Come in the water!!" Tegoshi shouted but Sayaka shook her head. She went back looking at her notes that she had wrote about them. Each day, they had improve more and more. She smiled and looked out to the 6 wet ikemens. She smiled and she looked around the beach, to see that people haven't noticed them yet. Which is good on her part. An important part of being their manager is to make sure the idols were safe.
As Sayaka was looking around, she noticed a little boy's arm out in the water. She didn't want to bother NEWS who was having fun. Sayaka got up to see no lifeguards out. She had to react fast. Her frightening past was haunting her again. Sayaka placed her hand on her face. She didn't want the boy to die but her fear of the water, kept haunting her in her mind.
Sayaka lift her head up and tied her hair in a ponytail. She wasn't going to let her fears get past her.
