Fresh and delicious - I just wrote the rest of the verse lyrics to the song I've been trying to finish for the past couple months. The only thing I'm missing is about half a bridge now, and that's just lyrically. I already have the music for it. Tonight I wrote everything but the refrains; the "I can't imagine" parts. This is a song in A minor about my interpersonal relationship problems, but other than that I'm digging on it. Here:
Oh, it starts so slow
I won't call you back for a couple days, even though
You're the one I'm thinking about
You are the bubble I won't blow
But you inch in close
You have a similar mouth of the one I think of the most
You whisper, "Give up the ghost,
I know that something's wrong
Tell me why you're practically comatose"
I can't imagine what the problem could be
I have a pretty good doctor in the general area,
But all he does is lick his lips and look at me
Like I know the answer
But from my mouth, problems still leak
Inevitably malevolently
It hasn't been the same since
I figured feeling you too hard affected my intelligence
Without the prospect of grief
I look for any excuse to leave
You see
I know only fools rush in
You can imagine the state I'll be in, in time
Love is a difficult lie
I couldn't look you in the eye, could I?
I can't imagine what the problem could be
Like a snake in the grass, you are adjusting your glasses
And all I do is scream and scream
through voice analysis machines
I thought that you'd have the answer,
but from my eyes you've surely seen
That I know as well as you what any body language means

Damn, I just realized I rhymed believe with leave, let alone in with in. Excuse me.
