OK, this is the last Honeymoon post, I swear. This post is entirely of flowers and plants. I love taking pictures of flowers, and the ones in Mexico are all so different, exotic and vibrant looking, so check the out!! These were taken all throughout the week, on and off the resort.

The resort we stayed at was called Grand Palladium Resorts and Spa. We stayed in the Colonial Mayan Suites, which were really big and had an outdoor shower!! We were like a 30 second walk from the gigantic pool, and about 1 minute from the beach (which was pretty, but kind of disappointed me cause it was COVERED in beach chairs.) On Thursday, we went on our last excursion, Xcaret. Xcaret is an ecological park, and had all kinds of neat cultural and animal exhibits. We also went snorkeling and swam in the underground river system, which is 4000 m. (However far that is).

On Wednesday, we went on a tour called Tulum Extreme. This tour began with us going to Tulum, a nicely restored Mayan Ruins. After that, we went and did scary crazy ass shit, like ziplining 50 or 100 feet in the air through the jungle and rappelling into a cave (maybe like 50 feet down?) and then ziplining into the underground cenote with the ( Read more... )

On Tuesday, we went horseback riding. We also went to the Italian Restaurant for dinner, where they stealthed me some bacon, but I caught it right away and avoiding meat-poisoning. So, on May 20th we got up at 4 am to get to the airport on time (we had to be there at 5 am). Our flight left either on time or early and we got into Mexico about 9:20ish in the morning. We got through customs and got onto the proper shuttle and then got to our resort around 12 pm ( Read more... )
