So, today was a short day! Got up at 6:40 and had breakfast at 7. Then, Liz and I walked around Tokyo. From 9-12 we had teaching workshops - I went to the junior high one. Once again, the lunch was vegetarian. It was pretty good today. From 1:15-5 pm we had prefectural meetings and workshops of our own choosing. I went to the JETs with Families one, the Intermediate Japanese one and the Female JET one. All were pretty informative. Afterwards, Liz and I once again walked around. I found Snyder's of Hanover pretzel bits! They were caramel!! (and tasty)
Around 7:30 we met up with our prefecture and went out for drinks and food. The PA ordered a bunch of vegetarian food so I could eat. I had edamame, some rice with seaweed, green tea and plum, some fried tofu, some uncooked tofu over ice and some salad. I also had a strawberry drink and a apricot and pineapple drink cause I don't do beer.
Tomorrow I leave for Kyoto and will not have internet access for a while, so you won't be hearing any exciting stories for a bit. I should have the internet up and going in the next few weeks though! :)
Here's some pictures from today!
