Ah...so things have cooled off quite a bit since my last angst-filled entry. Thanks to those of you who replied back with sentiments of love and more important honesty, it really meant allot to me.
So this weekend, my a cappella group, The Mama's Boys, was supposed to open up for Reggie and the Full Effects Band, Alkaline Trio, and My Chemical Romance. We found out about an hour before, however, that because of a little rain, the crew would need more time to soundcheck and therefore they needed to cut us from the roster. Very dissappointing. We were supposed to get VIP passes and everything. I still went to the show, but i stood in a pit full of psychotic middle schoolers and adults with similair maturity levels. Overall, a very loud concert.
We did get to open for Lewis Black Saturday night though. That was really cool. We got front row seats to the show too. The show was PHENOMINAL. Not only was Lewis Black hilarious beyond beleif, but the 2 guys who opened for him were great too. I was exhausted from laughter. However, we were told that we would get an opportunity to meet him afterwards, that didnt happen either.
So overall, a slightly dissappointing weekend. I still had allot of fun though.
