From the Transformers Wiki: A Vintage Horror Movie series was apparently at one point considered. It only got as far as the concept arts stage, but they were planning on making Dracula (who turns into a bat), The Fly (who turns into... well, guess) and The Creature from the Black Lagoon (who turns into a fish).
