At about 4am, I awoke to Kitty giving birth on my pillow!
It was sort of gross, lol. She nudged me, so I woke up and turned on the light. There was a kitten hanging half-way out of her, blood was everywhere. Ewww. She proceeded to push that first kitten all the way out. She then cleaned it up, and quickly moved under the bed to deliver her second kitten.
Brad and I had gone to bed knowing that Kitty was in labor. Although we didn't really want her to deliver under our bed, we figured that's where she would end up doing it. So, once she settled in down there, we fell asleep.
I know I should have stayed awake to help her, but we were so tired from having Josh over the night before. When she had her first litter of kittens, she needed me for the first baby but wanted to be alone while she delivered the other two. I guess this time was the same sort of deal; she was fine with delivering the other 5.
So, now we have six kittens to find good homes for. If you know of anybody who is looking, please let me know. They are really tiny, but I think we have: 3 gray tigers, 2 black and whites, and 1 all black.
I was only able to take one photo because I have been super busy today. Brad is home from work with bronchitis and I've been running errands all day.
