Killer tsunamis
I was surprised to see that the killer tidal wave story has become the top story on www.cnn.com and www.usatoday.com. Usually, stories that take place outside the US are relegated to the back pages.
They did still make sure to include the tally of people from outside the region killed. Since, amongst the tens of thousands that this body count will even out at, it makes so much difference that 8 of them were Americans.
