It's been
pouring for about 12 hours now, over 7 inches by noon today, and another 5 inches predicted. The creeks, ponds, and gullies are full to the brim. Roads are closed all over the place. We live up on a ridge, so no major flooding at our place. I decided to head home early this afternoon, though, just in case the roads on the way were bad. I packed up my stuff, headed out to the parking lot, and found my left front tire flat.
Not the best feeling.
So, I put on a waterproof jacket and changed my tire. Of course, the spare is only a 'donut' temporary one. Fortunately I was able to get to the tire place before it closed, and they fixed the tire. Not the greatest drive home, though, in jeans that were completely soaked.
