Drive By Update
So, I dodged the bullet! My luck was in! Although I had to check in twice every day I didn't end up even having to go downtown to be interviewed for a jury, and now I'm excused for a year! HOORAY!! :D :D :D
We celebrated Mother's Day by heading off to Yosemite for the weekend. The park was packed but the falls were absolutely spectacular. It was a warm Saturday but at the base of the Lower Yosemite Falls we were soaked by all the mist from the pounding water as it fell hundreds of feet in such a huge rush it also stirred up a mighty wind. We blissed out, it was *so* cool! :D
The rest of the park was fine but it was the falls that knocked my socks off. I love California. :)
And when we got home I got takeout Indian food for mother's day--yum. I love being a mom. :)
