So, this is what its like to be married,.,,,
And I love it!
Thanks to everyone who sent kind wishes. The day was just brilliant. I couldnt have asked for more. Family, friends and alcohol, along with a brilliant hotel, great weather and an excellent holiday.
I always said, if my dad couldnt walk me down the isle (in this case, the hotel lobby), no one would. At the last minute, I opted to get my dad's favourite song played - Willie Neilson, Cant Live, If living Is Without You. It made me feel closer to him, like he was walking with me. The whole day was amazing. The photographer was ace, I will post a few of my favourites, but believe me, there are so many to choose from.
DD was there, and fell in love with my pal, awwwww who knew? She met the crowd and had a good time. There is nothing more to say really. It was just the best day of my life, and I get to do it all again at an evening reception on Dec 15th. This time I get my first dance, and my niece gets to dance with the best man...who she has a crush on (but she forgives you Di) Married life is great, Ive been out for a meal, had breakfast in bed, baths run for me and just general pampering.
Im lucky, I married my best mate, my soul mate. He knows how to make me laugh, how to cheer me up when I am down and how to make me feel the most special person on earth....Oh God Im gushing.....I will stop now.
Other news is my brother, he lost the pancreas and has been in hospital a lot longer than expected. I was really shocked when we went to see him last week. However, he is in the best possible care, and I just hope he gets out soon. Fingers crossed.
I could write more about this and that and everything that has happened, but I wont. Im happy and life is good, the icing on the cake would be my brother getting released from hospital this week.
