keep your head up. i know that quite frankly, this sucks, but it happens and even as adults we make decisions that we thought we'd never make. yes, it's messed up for you but in my opinion if you REALLY love her, you will let her go and make her mistakes. we will be making mistakes for the rest of our lives, whether we are adults or not. just because our age permits us to be called thus doesn't mean that we will always behave as such (unfortunately). to be fair, i know what she means when she says that she lost her best friend because that's what happened to me. it is inexplainable to you. it was inexplainable to Eric. i know she didn't mean to lie to you, she did it to protect you but i will agree with you: that is cowardice and it is inexplicably disappointing for that kind of behavior to be displayed by someone you respect so much. in anycase, again- please hang in there. you know that Eric's there if you need him, and i'm definitely here as well.
