Any fans of the musical Spring Awakening here? Then check out the Hebrew translation, 'אביב מתעורר', Aviv Mit'orer. Popular Israeli singer נינט טייב, Ninet Tayeb, sings אמא, Ima (just "Mother"). It's a very loose yet faithful Hebrew translation that flows quite well. There used to be at time not long ago when songs translated into Hebrew sounded very "translated" -- take a look at many Disney musicals -- but this doesn't at all. It also helpts that Ninet has a great voice!
