So yeah, today was a full day; it was the first day I've ever tried to geocache in Peoria and did so with
slavetoreznor and Mika (who was no help whatsoever!). 2 out 5 isn't bad. Okay, technically it's failing, but we were damned excited about what we DID find.
So what DO I present you today? All but one Eurovision song has been picked and it's been a "why the hell (did/didn't) they choose this song?" year. Russia had a lot of shitacular songs on its selection this year and even picked one, ignoring the gem above. The song above is presented by Бурановские бабушки, Burnovskie babushki, the Grannies from Buranovo, singing in Udmurt, a language related to Finnish. It might not be a masterpiece, but it's very charming and it's hard not to smile after seeing the grannies perform! It's, in my opinion, leagues better than what Russia actually IS sending.
