I hope that everyone had a great Christmas, spent with those you love.
Or at least DOING what you love. ^_-
This was this year's return Christmas card illustration. I was bound and determined to get this damned thing finished. In 2005, when my father was diagnosed with lung cancer, the cards -- and likewise this image -- were forgotten about. In 2006 a hard drive fiasco deleted all but the inks and my flats. However, I'm a stubborn bitch, and in 2007 you have the finished version of this illustration. It took me freakin' long enough, but hopefully you guys appreciate the persistence.
BTW, I'm going to have leftover cards. If you didn't give an addy, feel free to send the address to me at aadroma@gmail.com ...

... and you know, when I went to pick up the cards that I had printed from this picture, you should have seen the clerk's face as he saw the front of the cards. Oh it was a Kodak moment.
