  • Jess - C'est pour toi / It's for You ~3.87MB, 4:01 - Jess is a Belgian-born singer/songwriter that's recently become popular in various French-speaking countries in Europe, and apparently she is in the statistical rarity of French-speaking Belgians to garner such fame as of late. This song shows off quite a nice voice and, while at first sounds like a typical ballad, it pulls off a wonderful raise of tempo and mood about 2:45 in.

  • Papa Wemba - Show Me the Way ~3.86MB, 4:01 - Papa Wemba is from the Democratic Republic of Congo and sings this and the rest of his songs in the language Lingala (well, okay, everything in this song is in Lingala sans the chorus that states, "Show me the way that I can go"). Papa Wemba's an important figure in the genre of music that's been classified as "Afropop", a fusion of some more traditional African musical elements and standard pop. Though some people complain that his songs lack lyrical depth, few can debate his songs' catchiness.
